Precious Times Day Nursery at Bleakhouse Road
Our incredible Children’s Day Nursery has just undergone a full refurbishment, boasting brand new interior with beautiful new furniture and resources in every room! Our setting is safe, secure and easy to access.

We have 6 indoor rooms, tailored to each age group from 0 – 5 years. Each room contains purpose-built, age appropriate early years resources for the children to explore, learn and play with.
​
Each room has easy access to age appropriate bathrooms to aid toilet training and assist with teaching the children the importance of hand washing throughout the day.​
Sensory Room
The nursery has a designated sensory room, which is a calm and inviting space designed to stimulate curiosity and support development. With adjustable lighting, soft textures, different musical sounds and interactive sensory equipment, the children can use this space to explore safely and discover their senses.
​
The sensory room can also be a therapeutic space for children, assisting with regulation, focus and relaxation. The room can be used for one-to-one care or in small groups to support the emotional and physical development of our children in a safe and comforting environment.
Nursery Pet
At Precious Times Day Nursery we have a pet rabbit who lives on site called Ozzy!
The children help us keep Ozzy safe and happy by keeping him fed, watered and clean, whilst Ozzy helps the children start to understand the lovely bond that children can have with animals.
Ozzy regularly joins in with story time or outdoor play in the baby garden!

Caring for and learning about animals help the children build confidence, responsibility and empathy, all whilst having fun watching Ozzy practising his jumping!
Baby Garden
We have a specially designed and segregated baby garden, providing a safe space for our babies to explore fresh air, natural textures and develop their early movements in a calm and natural environment.
​
The space is filled with soft surfaces, sensory items and shaded areas where they can play and enjoy the outdoors under supervision of our staff team.
Food Provision
Our children’s food is provided by food provider “Tiny Tasters”. They deliver delicious and healthy hot meals to the nursery site every day.
Their menu is available for parents and carers to view, but offers a large variety of nutritious meals that allow the children to discover new textures and flavours whilst eating healthily.

We also cater for all allergies and dietary requirements.
Outdoor Space
The setting also has an incredible outdoor space, consisting of grass and astro-turf, with an undercover zone, allowing us to enjoy learning outside in all weathers! We also have a designated garden for the babies, with outdoor resources to help them develop their physical skills, whilst enjoying sensory learning.

We have an abundance of climbing apparatus, construction resources and trikes, bikes and scooters for our children to play with!
We make use of an interactive app which parents can access 24 hours a day to receive live time updates about what our children have been up to during the day! This includes photographs and videos of our amazing activities, so you don't have to miss out on the fun we are having.
​
It also provides updates on meal times, nap times, nappy changes and toilet trips, so you can be reassured that your little one is receiving the best care whilst you're away.
